Oswiecim My first day trip from Krakow was the Auschwitz (Oswiecim) and Berkinow concentration camps. I took the train there from Krakow and thought there would be plenty of information when I arrived to guide me to the camps. But either I missed it or there just weren't any. So when I arrived I just followed other people figuring they were going to the same place -- and they were. Turns out it's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Once there I signed up for the full tour and film. The first part of the tour took us through the Auschwitz portion of the large camp.
