Gdansk |

I arrived in Gdansk late, like midnight. So this is one
of the few times I reserved ahead of time where I was
going to stay.
I made my way there and the cab driver and I had
to pound on the door to wake up the night desk guy.
I didn't like the hotel so much, mostly because there
were hundreds (well, it seemed like hundreds)
of high school kids staying there on some school thing.
Guess that's what you get at a student youth hostel.
I decided to stay in Gdansk longer so I moved to a Holiday
Inn near the train station for my last night.
I moved
in thinking it was so cheap and convenient being right
near the train station. But they had quoted me
in Euros instead
of Polish Zlotnies. This made quite a big difference in
the price!
But it
was worth it for the one extra night to make up for the
place I was in originally.
The picture here is of one of the market places in Gdansk.
