Chiang Mai I arrived late in Chiang Mai and was directed to this hotel from another guesthouse that had no room. Nice place, not a bad deal for a hotel but you can do cheaper at a guesthouse. (Top North Hotel, not to be confused with the Top North Guesthouse). It also seemed to be filled mostly with western guys with their little Thai girls. You'd see them at tables around the pool and in the cafes holding drinks and blankly staring at nothing over each others shoulders. Occasionally they smile and nod at each other.
