Cambodia, Poipet to Siem Reap

One rest stop along the way we were overrun by these kids. Suprisingly they all spoke English very well.
This was a long ride and I occupied my time partly by skimming through someone else's book on Cambodia. I don't usually like to enter a country without reading about it first, but I hadn't even been able to as my travel book starts and ends with Thailand. I already had some idea of what I wanted to accomplish in Cambodia from tips I had gotten from other travellers.
A group of us from the bus ride all stayed at the same guesthouse. The guys there were willing to drive us around to the temples of Angkor for $7 per day. That seemed to be the going rate. And they were a great bunch of guys that essentially took care of all of our travel needs the whole time we were there.
